Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT works on the principle that “you feel the way you think”.  Therefore, you can live more happily and productively if you’re thinking in healthy ways.  Therapy sessions allow you freedom to:

  • Identify and banish negative thought processes
  • Understand your past experiences while staying in the present
  • Use CBT and Mindfulness combined to help overcome depression addiction, anxiety, insecurities, low self-esteem and accepting yourself.

 

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)

NLP is about increasing your options, instead of being restricted by your experiences and saying “this is the way I do things, and this is how it has to be”.  It challenges your “norm” and helps you to learn how to adopt a positive and creative mindset to bring about changes to your life or wellbeing.

 

Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is a skilled communication aimed at directing a person’s imagination in a way that helps elicit changes in some perceptions, sensations, feelings, thoughts and behaviours.  Hypnotherapy may found to be helpful for those seeking relief from a range of problems and is used alongside a person’s own willpower and motivation to seek a desired goal.  It is often used to help anxiety, aid sleeping, weight goals and help clients achieve behavioural change to stop smoking, and to help people cope and manage the relief of perceived pain including IBS.

 

Brain Working Recursive Therapy (BWRT)

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)

EFT is a simple, effective self-help technique that works directly with the body’s energy system to help heal emotional problems.  It’s like acupuncture without the needles!  EFT involves tapping the body’s major energy field end points while repeating statements that focus on specific emotional problems.

 

Mindfulness, Meditation and Mantra

The practice of meditation is already well known for helping with a variety of issues we may be familiar with or have experienced ourselves e.g. alleviate stress and anxiety, helping to bring clarity to our thoughts and actions, increased confidence and self awareness.
