These are fantastic classes for people with chronic back or neck pain, people recovering from a recent acute back or neck problem, and for those wanting to help prevent future back and neck problems.
This is an introductory course of 6 weekly classes. It is strongly recommended that all 6 classes are attended for optimum results.
These classes are for those who have completed the introductory course and wish to progress their exercises and continue in a class setting.
The classes have been carefully structured to include a warm-up, stretching exercises and progressive Pilates-style strengthening exercises.
Pilates exercises have been shown to be some of the most effective exercises for spinal rehabilitation. The focus in Clinical Pilates is on correct technique rather than building up a sweat!
The classes are conducted by an experienced Chartered Physiotherapist with specialist training in Clinical Pilates. Class sizes are kept to a maximum of 6 to enable individual attention to be given, ensuring correct technique and therefore optimal, safe performance from participants
